I am writing to praise a member of your staff. Her name is Ludmila Prokesova, and she is a receptionist at the Hotel Sonata.
My wife & I arrived in Prague at 12:00pm on the night of 12/02/2011 and discovered that the hotel we had been booked into no longer existed, as you can imagine we were at our "wits end".
We walked around the block and discovered your lovely hotel, and upon hearing our plight Ludmila could not have been more helpful, even attempting to contact our non-existant hotel for us, and finding us a room at your great hotel, which we will recommend to our friends.
I cannot praise the actions of this young lady enough and can only say that she is a credit to your company.
Please give her our thanks and gratitude on our behalf.

Great location close to both Wencelas Sq and public transport links. Rooms clean and comfortable, including bathroom, though no tea and coffee making facilities. Staff very polite and eager to help. Great selection at breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

i guess out of luck we scored the handicap access room. pros = - lots more room than a typical bedroom - free breakfast . my gosh, this was an excellent deal cons = - the bathroom was interesting since the shower didnt have a shower curtain. you were provided a shower handle and a fold down chair from the wall. after showering, you realize that the bathroom floor became a pond. perhaps a shower curtain is in order? - internet is not free

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Sonata Hotel. The reception staff especially Elana were very helpful. Restuarant staff were polite and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the Sonata for a long weekend at easter and found the hotel to be very nice.

Very clean, big tiled from wall to bathroom, comfy double bed and ample storage space, room big and pleasent. Staff on reception were quite friendly and tried to help, but the sometimes there was a language barrier.
Hotel situated on a very busy main junction, but with double glazing you can't hear a sound.
Breakfast is your typical continetal varity of breads, yogurts, hams and cheeses, only ate breakfast on the morning of our return. If you can wait until you walk into town you'll find plenty of nice cafes which serve up bacon and eggs washed down with fresh orange juice and tea, which was reasonably priced.
Sonata is about a 15min walk into the old town, walk quite pleasent, apart from the numerous sex shops on some of the corners but never had any hassle.
Would recommend.
